The 1/4 round router with a 1/4 shank is a wood-cutting bit for CNC routers and conventional routers. The IDC Woodcraft brand 1/4 Round Over Router Bit (a.k.a. rounding bit, radius bit) simplifies the toolpath setup. It is designed to come to a point, instead of having a flat at the bottom. This completely eliminates form-tool setup in your CNC design software. NO OFFSETTING OF THE 1/4 ROUNDING BIT IS REQUIRED!! Just set it up to run on a profile line at 0.245" deep and you end up with a perfect radius that requires minimal smoothing.
