This premium 1/4" compression bit (also known as an up-down CNC bit) is a unique bit for CNC routers. It allows you to cut out your CNC project while leaving both the top and bottom edges of your project clean (eliminates tear-out).
The 1/4" compression bit can cut the entire depth of 3/4" material in one pass.
1/4 compression bits are commonly used in place of the 1/4 up-cutting endmill and the down-cutting endmill. They are excellent for use when cutting out plywood at full depth on your CNC woodworking projects.
