The IDC Woodcraft brand rounding bit (a.k.a. round over bit, rounding bit, radius bit) is designed to simplify toolpath setup. It comes to a point, instead of having a flat at the bottom, so you don't have to mess with complicated offsets.

This completely eliminates the form-tool set up in your software. NO OFFSETTING OF THE BIT IS REQUIRED!! Just set it up to run on a profile line at 0.12" deep and you end up with a perfect radius that requires minimal smoothing.

Very smooth roundover bit

This bit is a great roundover bit as it leaves such a smooth roundover on my woodworking projects. This roundover eliminates sanding of the edges of my working endeavors and who doesn't like less sanding on a project?

I’ve used this and it cuts a clean
roundover in Walnut. I use the IDC app which has several different suggested settings for each bit I have.
