The EdgeHugger™ Clamp Kit is a precision-engineered CNC workholding system designed to hold material rock-solid from the edge while staying almost completely out of the cutting envelope.
Unlike bulky top-down clamps that steal cutting area and force compromised toolpaths, EdgeHugger™ clamps sit just 0.22″ above the material and intrude only 0.23″ from the edge. That means cleaner toolpaths, fewer collisions, and significantly more usable spoilboard.
Purpose-built for CNC routers using T-track systems, the EdgeHugger™ Clamp Kit is engineered to perform under real cutting forces, not bench tests. Every component is 100% USA made, using premium materials designed for repeatability, safety, and long-term reliability.

The EdgeHugger™ clamping system accommodates material thicknesses from 3/16″ (5 mm) up to 1-1/2″ (38 mm) using the included stainless steel M6 flat-head screw set—covering thin sheet goods through thick stock without changing clamp hardware.

EdgeHugger™ clamps are made from fiber-reinforced engineering thermoplastic chosen for its ability to distribute stress evenly, resist deformation, and avoid point-loading. This is structural, load-rated material—not generic plastic.
Very close. The clamp intrudes just 0.23″ from the material edge, making it ideal for profiling, pocketing, and contour cuts that are risky with traditional clamps.
