Your 1/8" 0-flute bit is here! 0-flute bits are the go-to bits for all things acrylic with CNC routers. If you haven't created LED-lit acrylic projects, it's definitely time.

You are getting a 1/8" diameter O flute bits to tackle those detailed Acrylic signs you'll be making.

Acrylic requires a high-spiral bit that minimizes contact with the plastic to prevent melting, which 'galls' the material to the bit, making it ineffective. This also virtually eliminates the other enemy of cutting plastic...melting it and causing it to bind to the cut surface.

The specs, feeds and speeds are listed below.

Save 25% when you buy the set, 1/8" AND 1/4". You can get them by clicking here now.

All bits on this site are made of carbide steel. Carbide is what professional metal machinists use to make complex items like car engines. It stays sharp 50x longer than conventional CNC router bits.

great little workhorse on HDPE

Bought this bit, along with a 1/16" bit for a sign contract a local golf course. Bit cuts cleanly and with no issues on HDPE colorcore plastic. Completed six identical signs with 70+ minutes of run time each with absolutely no issues. HIghly recommendj.

Excellent Bit

This bit has been running great. Much better than cheaper bits found elsewhere. Able to complete jobs more efficiently which saves time. Will buy more products in the future.

Great Acyrlic Bits

All my bits now come from IDC, great bits, reasonable prices and quick delivery with added treats and the added personal touch. Some of the bits I have purchased I have not used yet. My most used bits are the 1/8" & 1/16" O'Flute bits for acrylic... these bits are amazing, very clean cutting. I have used the 1/4" & 1/8" ball nose bits... love them. I have used both taper bits I purchased that IDC offers (.015" & .045"), these are great bits too. I also have the two drill bits they offer (1/4" & 1/8”) ... I have used the 1/4" drill bit... drilled through the wood like butter and fast. I have used extensively the 3/8" keyhole bit... works great. Love the 1.5" surfacing bit I have. Bits I have not used yet include the ultra-clean v-bit set... looking forward to trying these out. I also have both the badger and the beast, not used yet, maybe a little afraid of the power of these two bits. I have the 3/16" compression bit, not used yet.
If I have any wishes... trivial as it may be, I wished the 1/8" ball nose bit came in a 1/4" shank. Pretty weak, right but I usually use the ¼”, 1/8” and taper bits together, one after another… so I need to change collets in the middle of my operations as the taper bits are also ¼” shanks. Oh Yeah, I have the shark tool drawing tool, not used yet but have plans. Also have the muscle chuck... did not like the ¼” to 1/8" collet insert to use with the muscle chuck as it let loose and broke a bit and ruined a job. The muscle chuck works great as a standalone... much easier to use. I think I have other bits from IDC but can't think of them now. I know this was supposed to be a review just for the 1/8" ball nose bit... but overall, they are all great bits. Service is great too... Garrett makes sure his customers are satisfied... I had a missing bit in one of my orders... Garrett quickly replied and sent out the missing bit. So, you can tell, I highly recommend IDC Woodcraft... I will also add they Garrett puts out great videos and has a weekly podcast.
