On-Board Gasket

On-Board gasket is used to quickly create a customized gasket configuration directly on  a fixture plate or spoil-board. Great for quick setups, and an easy solution for odd-shaped parts. 

Simply create a perimeter that sits inside the intended cut area. You can achieve any shape, and create multiple independent vacuum zones for multiple parts.  When using a fixture plate, drill a hole within the gasket perimeter to direct the vacuum into your custom zone.

For easy one-time or short-term setups, you can install custom zones on the gasket, and simply remove the adhesive gasket from the fixture plate when you need to set up for a different size part (the adhesive peels up cleanly, so you can re-use your fixture plate).

For repeated setups, you can create a permanent re-useable work-holding pallet by installing adhesive gasket directly onto a fixture plate. When placing a gasket on a fixture plate, you can cut all the way through the part, eliminating the need for tabs or onion skins, and leaving you with a fully finished part.
